Cape Blue Apartments is located in Skotina Beach a small, peaceful seaside village which is part of the municipality of Dio-Olympos, in the Pieria regional unit, Central Macedonia, Greece.

The beach is only 200 meters from our apartments. The sandy coast and shallow waters are suitable for small children.
In a small distance from Cape Blue Apartments, by feet you can have access at two mini markets, a bakery store, 2 taverns , a restaurant, two beach bars and an ATM machine.
Only 350 meters from Skotina Beach is Neos Panteleiomonas where you can find more tavernas, mini markets and beach bars.
The train station “PROASTIAKOS” is located in Leptokarya, 5km away from Skotina Beach
The airport of Thessaloniki is 100 km away
OLYMPUS MOUNTAIN
Olympus Mountain is the highest mountain in Greece. Its highest peak is Mytikas where according to Greek mythology was the home of the Greek gods while Zeus Throne was Stefani.Olympus is known for its exceptional biodiversity and rich flora. It has been a National Park, the first in Greece, since 1938. The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking.The Gorge of Enipeas, Orlias warerfall, the beautiful pathways in the forest are unique sightseeing you can enjoy trying trekking and hiking or even canoyoning , mountain biking or paragliding.
At Litochoro a small town at the foot of Mountain Olympus, 10 km away from Cape Blue Apartments there are clubs organising these experiexces.
Every year in June takes place the Olympus Marathon, an the international mountain running event.
RELIGIOUS TOURISM
Greece has plenty interesting from both architectural and historical site, monasteries and churches that deserve a visit.
The Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus, subordinated directly to the Patriarch of Constantinople is the most important in Pieria.
The chapel of Saint Dionysios is located on the Enipeas River, built under an overhanging rock just above a spring.
Other monasteries located at Olympus is Kanalon, Agia Triada and Sparmos.
Meteora (147 km away from Cape Blue Apartments), is a fascinating rock formation with marvelous, breathtaking complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

PALIOS PANTELEIMONAS
Palios Panteleimonas is a traditional village built on the slopes of Mount Olympus at an altitude of 500m , just 10 minutes away by car from Cape Blue Apartments. There are many restaurants, tavernas and cafeterias to
enjoy local cuisine and the tranditional local drink tsipouro .
Visit it to enjoy the marvelous view of the Thermaikos Gulf, the local architecture and the local cuisine.
